Jai Opetaia faces the challenge of a lifetime when he collides with the defending Cruiserweight world champion, Maris Briedis.

The Latvian owns an incredible 28-1 (20 KO) record and is a two time world champion, with his sole defeat coming by way of a razor thin majority decision against Oleksandr Usyk, the current Heavyweight champion.

Opetaia is the mandatory contender for Briedis’ IBF world title. He sports an impressive 21-0 (17KO) ledger and will need all of his southpaw skill and guile if he’s to create Australian sporting history.
